AT&T wazzup ?!?

Still fresh with Iphone news, a lot of people complaining about AT&T service. Oh c'mon AT&T, you should have anticipated the Iphone explosion. It was the talk of the town everywhere, any conversation turns into Iphone, it's ridiculous.

If AT&T cannot live up its service on par with Apple's beautiful product shame on them. I just hope people(talking bout the non-geek) notice that it's not 'bad Apple' it's AT&T.

Iphone is here...argh get me one!!!

Well, finally the moment that everybody is waiting for..the Iphone. It's here!! You can't believe the mass hysteria over this product. You would think only geeks and nerds were camping out to get their first hand of Iphone. Apparently some of these people are just regular Joe's.

Well, I think they would just re-sell it on Ebay just like Nintendo or PS3 mobs. The long que of so many non-techies outside Apple and AT&T stores shows that Iphone appeals to a wide audience even if the hefty price tag + service ranges from $400 to $600.

It's a totally cool-looking new type of phone from Apple. There is no keyboard just screen, it's a combination of cellphone and Ipod.

I've been their Apple's follower for quite awhile. Apple has been making strong products for years, thanks to the taste of Steve-O...haha..I think their ads on TVs that shows Iphone's multitouch capability really grab people's attention. It's the first ever in a cellphone.

Check them here http://www.apple.com/iphone/

Here's a closer review a few months back by CBS

Anybody wants to buy me one?

Multitouch Technology/Surface computing

The idea of having a technology that blends in into our daily lives is intriguing. Multitouch technology has just now began to enter the market with the introduction of Apple's Iphone. The amazing Iphone enable users to interact with the device by using more than one finger(multi-gesture). This technology has been around for so long, but just began to be rediscovered and getting into the mainstream market.

First popularized by Jeff Han at TED, this technology 'wow' the audience because it's like watching the real 'minority report' screen that Tom Cruise use in tracking down the bad guys. It will totally redefine the way we use computer in the future.

Who knows somebody or some company will began to re-create the 'computer'; building the necessary components from the top down based on multitouch. It would revolutionize the hardware and software industries by '180' degrees, because we now do not need the bulky Operating System and Hardwares that supports it. By integrating different hardware and software components into a more cost-effective device in the form of that of a tablet PC, we can make a slimmer pc; thus true streamline integration between computer and our daily lives. I just hope that Apple or a company that resembles Apple would thrust us into this new frontier. Well at least Apple did it correctly with Iphone anyway...I think(we'll see) :)

On another note, Microsoft tries to jump into this new arena of computing as well. They have just introduced their vision of multitouch technology. In their presentation, a table with multitouch screen let user pay their bills, send pictures, exchange files, etc. It also shows interoperability between communication devices and other various functions. You can check their vision of this technology @ their website: http://www.microsoft.com/surface/I'm telling you I like what I see in their videos. If Microsoft truly is trying to go under the radar with this technology, Apple must be careful not to be caught of guard. Iphone is nice, but they shouldn't stop with just an ipod/cellphone concept. They should make a computer that's multitouch capable or Microsoft is going to jump them.

Hey since nobody really have an edge on this market yet, why not add Google to the mix. They have the funds and resources to build this computing experience from scratch, so google people if you are listening, start making a multitouch computer that will sync with your already available apps please...

I guess those cool gadgetry that we see in sci-fi movies are not too distant of a future after all.

The Law of Diminishing returns

Just a note to self:

In business: It is a phenomenon that beyond a certain point, adding additional units of resources to a production process will provide successively smaller increments of additional product. This is due to crowding, adding less experienced or less appropriate resources, and so on.
